Randall Powers and William L. Caudell, a French Empire desk sits on the foot of a Rose Tarlow Melrose House mattress. This room does double obligation as a gorgeous bedroom and serene house office. In interior decorator Elissa Cullman’s Connecticut residence, daughter Georgina’s room contains a faux-bamboo headboard.
